Tango Show “Casa Blanca”

We invite you to the most glamorous tango house in Buenos Aires, located in the heart of San Telmo, to enjoy a high-impact, elegant and sophisticated show, with an outstanding live orchestra and a wide range of artists on stage.

The place is located in the neighborhood of San Telmo, at the height of Balcarce 668, a street that crosses the historic center of this emblematic neighbourhood and is also known as “the street of music”. It was one of the pioneering and main tango houses that lived its heyday at the end of the ’60s. There, a white piano refers to the film starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and becomes the starting point of the show. It was restored respecting the original aesthetics and taking care of the smallest detail.

Casablanca is right next to the renowned Café Molière, which will be in charge of the host gastronomy of the show. For the visitor to live a full experience, it includes the option to enjoy a barbecue on the terrace of the premises or an exquisite à la carte menu. The show, which lasts 80 minutes, has all the necessary condiments to seduce both foreign travelers and those locals who want to rediscover the River Plate identity.

The walls of this temple of tango keep stories and secrets of the greatest figures of the time such as Virginia Luque, Susana Rinaldi, Enrique Dumas, Jorge Sobral, María Graña, Hugo Marcel and Néstor Fabián; the orchestras led by Leopoldo Federico, Raúl Garelo, the Sexteto Mayor and Jaime Torres. Juan Carlos Copes and María Nieves, El Chúcaro and Norma Viola and the Ballet Brandsen, among others, also left their mark on that stage.
